AIGS Canada (AI Governance & Safety Canada)
Nonpartisan not-for-profit describing itself as "a community of people across the country, working to ensure that advanced AI is safe and beneficial for all", with the mission "to catalyse Canada's leadership in AI governance and safety". Two named strands, Movement-Building and Advocacy. Its work index publishes the "Plan for Canada" white paper series (2023, 2024, and "Preparing for the AI Crisis: A Plan for Canada", 2025), six listed parliamentary committee testimonies plus oral testimony on Bill C-27, government submissions, the Coalition for Responsible AI, a Canadian AI Policy Course focused "specifically on high-impact and advanced general-purpose AI", a newsletter and a Slack community.
