UBC's main AI research organization: "over 100 professors and their research associates, spanning 30 departments/schools/institutes", centred on AI for decision-making and action. Its research is organised into tracks and focus areas, one of which is a named "AI & Trustworthiness" group: "The AI & Trustworthiness group focuses on the development of trustworthy machine-learning-based systems. There is a specific focus on applications that provide rigorous guarantees of robustness, privacy, and security", with thirteen named members. The group is described as "largely part of the UBC Trustworthiness of Machine-Learning-Based Systems (TrustML) Research Cluster".
